I don’t know about you but when I get hungry and I’m busy, I’m more likely to grab a snack that’s not so healthy. As I’ve been following the Weight Watchers plan, I have learned that it’s important to keep healthy snacks on hand that I can grab and go when I’m busy and hungry.
Here’s a list of snacks that are great to keep on hand and are not detrimental to the waist line. I like to prepare these snacks at the beginning of the week in Ziploc bags or small containers that way they are pre-portioned, which helps prevent over indulging. Many of these snacks ideas are 0 to 3 Points Plus.
Baby Carrot Sticks
Popcorn (I love to sprinkle Parmesan cheese or smoked paprika on the popcorn. Yum!)
Whole Wheat Crackers with cheese slices
Salsa with pretzels or crackers
Dill Pickles (most are 0 points)
Kellogg’s Special K Bars (most of them are only 2 points)
Jello Sugar Free Pudding Cups
Laughing Cow Cheese
Cottage Cheese (I like the Fiber One brand. 1/2 Cup is 2 Points)
Oscar Meyer Roasted Turkey Breast
Oscar Meyer Turkey Dogs
