This recipe always seems to make an appearance at many family dinners and church potlucks around here. I’ve heard it called several different things but Dump Cake is the most popular name for this tasty dessert.
You will need:
1 can drained pineapples (crushed)
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box cake mix (yellow or white)
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 sticks margarine
Grease a 9×13 glass baking dish.
Dump in cherry filling and drained pineapples.
Sprinkle nuts on top.
Sprinkle dry cake mix on top.
Cut margarine into small pieces and put on top of cake mixture.
Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for about one hour.
