Brisket is considered one of the most difficult cuts of meat to prepare due to the complexity of the cut. Brisket consists of a piece of meat called a flat, the point, and two layers of fat. It takes time, patience, and knowledge of the cut to properly get the meat just right. Brisket can be smoked up to fifteen hours to get the meat tender enough to enjoy. A trick to smoking the perfect brisket is starting with what is called the “packer’s cut.” This is a trimmed version. When you prepare a brisket, make sure to place the fat cap up so the juices run down into the meat and absorb, making the final result juicy and flavorful.
Arby’s Smokehouse Brisket
Preparing the brisket takes many hours. If you are short on time, you can head down to an Arby’s near you and try one of theirs! Visit this link to find a local Arby’s near you. Find an Arby’s I was actually short on time and tried one yesterday. It was absolutely phenomenal. My car (I went through the drive thru) was immediately filled with the aroma of slow cooked beef seasoned to perfection.
One pointer though I would not recommend eating this one while driving. It was so extremely succulent, juicy, and tender that some of the juice landed on my pants. Next outing, dry cleaners!
Arby’s knows the secret, because they have concocted a recipe for an amazing smokehouse brisket. They smoke the meat for thirteen hours, making their cuts tender, moist, and simply mouthwatering. Included on the sandwich is Gouda cheese (one of my favorite cheeses), their savory BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, a delicious bakery style bun, and my favorite, crispy onions, which I think round out the sandwich and make it absolutely perfect.
Check out. That delicious looking sandwich!
